Projects Maintenance Technician for Multifamily Property Management

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our property located in Houston, TX.

  • Ensure all work orders and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner
  • Must have experience with some structural and basic repairs to siding but not limited to stair rails, patios, sheetrock, countertops and cabinets.
  • Basic plumbing and Electrical knowledge is also required for small repairs like light switches, outlets, shut off valves and drains.
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices is a plus as we will fill in from time to time to assist properties in need.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel as this position requires travel in and around Houston surroundings.
  • Must have basic tools required to do and perform day to day tasks. Examples: Hammers, tape measure, screwdrivers Greenline will review tools as required and provide on a case by case basis
  • Work with Project Manager to adhere to budget guidelines
  • Work with Project Manager to ensure that daily tasks are being met from job to job
  • Update Asana daily for task updates and completion approvals with Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to diagnose problems with and repair the following:
    • Major appliances
    • Basic - Intermediate plumbing
    • Basic - Intermediate electrical (when no license required)
    • Sheet rock
    • General carpentry
    • Repair and install flooring and tile
    • Pest control (if required by property)
    • Roofs and gutters
    • Wallpaper/painting
    • Foundation/sidewalks.
